Dear all,

I have received BRP recently as my 1st extension for 2 years, but unfortunately I will not complete 5 years in 2015. Please find the details are below

I did get Tier [1] General from 26/04/2010 valid until 26/04/2013 for 3 years

and now I got Tier [1] General extension from 17/04/2013 valid until 17/04/2015 for 2 years. So it is 9 days short for 5 years.

BRP Error team advise me to contact case worker via letter [no phone number or email id given ].

Could anyone help me on this please.

Thank you

You can post your same question in the forum for ILR on the site. That would give you chances for better replies.
I am not sure how to contact case worked, but you should get details with your BRP card on contact methods for any correction/loss of card.

I would ask for getting your dates corrected, but your shortfall of 9 days may not be an issue depending on when you entered the UK for the first time.

Read the below paragraph on the page 21 of the document.

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... iew=Binary

==============================================

The period between entry clearance being issued and the applicant entering the UK may be
counted toward the qualifying period, as long as it does not exceed 90 days. This can occur
if the applicant is delayed travelling to the UK. Provided the period of delay does not exceed
90 days, it will not be counted as an absence.
