I have ILR and wife is applying ILR on SET(M) as she had switched under FLM(M). She got her first suppose visa in 2004 so she comes under older (prior to July 2012) rules. We have 3 children and they are British nationals.
I am claiming Child Benefit and Working/Child Tax credits.
Can you please confirm if following meets the Maintenance requirements under old rules.
Income Sources : Income
I Work : £1000 PCM (After deductions)
Wife Work : No
Child Benefit : £188 PCM
WTC/CTC : £945 PCM
Bank Savings : £8000+
House Rent : £0 (As it's owned by my brother and no rent is payable)
Thanks

It's got both of us name as you have to give both names. But I mentioned in claim forms that my wife is subject to Immigration Controls.

Have your Brother write a letter stating that you can live in the home indefinitely for free.

Yes. And We have live here for 8 years. And He always wrote me a letter for HO. Never had any problem.
I usually send HO the letter and Land Registery.
But I don't see that HO need any assurence that any circumstances will always stay the same forever.

No, just a reasonable presumption that you have adequate accommodation.
