Missing Stamping

Hi Friends..

I am going to ILR next month. I have one query.

When I was travelling from India to Belfast via London in Sep 2011, I missed my stamping (entry clearance) at London. I informed that to UKBA and they told me to visit any country near by. I went to Swiss and come back.

When I am filling SET(O) form, I am not sure which date to mention in
--Date entered uk.

Should I mention Sep 2011 (or) Nov 2011 (or) both

Date Left uk - Date entered UK
------------- ------------------
Aug - 2011 SEP - 2011

(OR)

Date Left uk - Date entered UK
------------- ------------------
Aug - 2011 NOV - 2011

(OR)

Date Left uk - Date entered UK
------------- ------------------
Aug - 2011 SEP-2011
05-NOV - 2011 10-NOV-2011

Please clarify me.

Thanks

you can request SAR file that hold the personal data recording applicants.

UKBA doesnt rely on passport stamps to calculate absences, UKBA advising to visit "nearby" country and enter again is laughable to say the least

Same information regarding your Exit/Entry ,rom/o UK CW will print it out using your Passport. This result will come through immediately. CW will check these dates with your statement. Your absences if not excessive ,CW will not ask you for any clarifications.

But still following the SAR report is more wise because it represents the inner data as held in UKBA system and the same will be used by caseworker while dealing with the application.

Yes kevin 24. you are saying right because SAR report in many occasions takes long to arrive but it is incredibly helpful in preparing the application.

Agree with you. Really Help full in preparing My application. Only thing I used it for was whether My Enry/Exit days matches with the Passport stamps dates.

As there is no exit stamp put when you leave UK , what is the best way to indicate passport page while listing abscences.
Can we indicate arrival stamp for destination country like below ?
e.g.
Date left uk :25/dec/2008 Arrival date:26/dec/2008 Passport page:5
Date returned to the uk:11/Jan/2009 Passport page:8

You have already clearified.
Date left uk :25/dec/2008 Arrival date:26/dec/2008 Passport page:5

As While going out of UK there is no stamp so needed to mention arrival stamp .
e,g.
For one of my trip i left UK on 25th dec 2008 and returned on 11/jan/2009.
Date left UK:25/DEC/2008 --No stamp
Arrival stamp in india :26/dec/2008-- Passport page 5
Date returned to uk :11/jan/2009--Passport page 8
SO, for date left UK i'm mentioning arrival date stamp of destination country.

That's fine. Since My absences were 50 days,I mentioned the date before arrival date( destination country) as My exit date.

Sorry folks I've just seen this, how to apply for a sar file? From homeoffice? If I walk into an office in person would it help to speed things up?my Peo is in 2 weeks so I doubt it will get to me on time.
