Hi Friends,

I came to UK in July 2008 on work permit and changed it to Tier 1 general Visa on 3 Oct 2010.

Since then I had one extension and my current visa is valid till Oct 2016.

I am thinking of applying for ILR in July 2013 and need to know about absences from UK rule. I had a total of 120 leaves in 5 year period excluding travel days (just taking whole days in to account).

In my first employment from July 2008 to Dec 2011 I took 113 leaves and I can’t get letter from my employer as they don’t have record. Is it must to have listing your paid leaves if:-

1. I have not taken a leave longer than 23 days at a time.
2. I got payslips covering all the period where no deductions are made for leaves.
3. Also I got a service letter from previous employer covering the whole period.

Any Help of this will be highly appreciated.

Regards
UM

Reading these two post should help you:

As per forms and guidance notes, you do need the absence letter from employer. However, many posters have shared their ILR application experience, which indicates, you do not need to enclose absence letter if you absence was less 180 days in any calender year preceding to your ILR application date.

Hope this helps.
