Hello all,

Want to share my experience for successful ILR application at Solihull on 19th July, 2013.

The process of entering the premise and giving a nod for all ok with the application took only 20 mins.

Arrived 1 hr before the schedule and was allowed in straight away.

All standard documents submitted, like life in the uk test, salary slips, bank statements and cohabitation documents.

Was NOT asked for education documents ,birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc. since all those were submitted with my previous application.

For absences, I had total of 27 days in last 5 years, was not asked for and didn't submit any docs for it, although I had all incase.

All the best to all who are planning to apply and special thanks to this forum which is doing a wonderful job.

Thanks.

Hi Pavan,

I'm bit too organised :), so I took all the documents that I've had for past 5 years in orderly fashion.

However, I didn't even submit my covering letter, document checklist or any absence letter since before I could do so, she mentioned that your ILR application has been approved.

For cohabitation documents, again, I had last 5 years utility bills and mortgage documents, she took the bunch and selected one for each year for last 2 years. For marriage certificate, she mentioned that we know that "you are married" :) so don't need the certificate, it was in their records.

Let me know if you need more information.

Thanks.
