what should be mention for the column " Reason for Absence" if someone is went for holidays, to visit the family, or vacation etc...

does it matter....

D3. Since then have you had any absences from the UK? If yes, give the dates you left and returned to the UK and the reason for the absence in the spaces below. List all absences however short and in date order. If you need more space, continue on a separate sheet and enclose it with your application

Hi,

I am on Tier 1 General from the begining and going for ILR.

In 5 years I am absent for total of 88 days..

1) I was working with my previous employer on full time and during those period was on vacation to INDIA as annual leave.

Next, since then other 2/3 leave I took but I am self employed in that period.

So Can you please tell me do I need to get letter from previous employer and I am not sure how they can provide ?

And also how to show absence letter for the other 2 as I am on contract during those period ..since ?

Please advise if anyone has applied as Tier 1 General recently and their experience ??

Thanks,
Amit
