10 year visa 1 gap plz help

hi all plz help me for this gap
im planing to apply long resedency visa in oct 2013 i recive sar file on one occasion i applied my student visa on (13 june 2008) my expiry is (30 june 2008) on (8 july 2008) i recive refusal from home office reason my college was not on the list any more they said u can make appeal on it but my solicitore send a freash application on(15 july 2008) with the new college addmission and ukba grant the visa on (7 aug 2008) my question is becouse my visa expire (30 june 2008) and my solicitore send new application on (15 july 2008) that time can u plz tell me is it 15 day gape or not
