Passport validity for ILR

Hi All
I am on Tier-1(General) visa and going to apply for ILR incoming Feb 14. My spouse passport is going to expire in august 2014. So , validity of passport will be 6 months at the time of ILR application(planning for PEO).
Kindly suggest if it will create any issue. Do I need to apply for passport renewal before going to ILR.

Thanks Amber for confirming it. I was bit tensed as at the time of ILR, passport validity is exactly around 6 months.
Now I am bit relaxed

Hi guys,
I have similar situation, planning to apply for ILR at PEO in March 2014 and passport expires in Aug 2014, so less than 6 months validity at the time of application.
Any official link confirming about validity of passport please?

Hi Guys,
I shall be applying for my ILR in next month. My Passport is getting expired in June. Do I need to get it renewed before I go for appointment ?
I see the renewal takes abt 4 to 6 weeks and was worrying if this at all needed ?
