Set O New Form released

New Set (O) form and guidance note are out now, can't see any change other than payment page, as expected. If you locate anything else, please share.

Do we need to fill the payment sheet in, albeit the payment has already been made. It's still not clear neither in the new form nor in the guidance note. What shall we do, can we still leave it blank and attach the payment confirmation page.

Thanks

Hi Prakash You need to fill new version of Set (O) Form.
If you paid fee as per previous rule than UKBA charge for remainder fee on your apportionment day.

Hi To All,

I have also, booked PEO appointment on this Saturday 12th April, as I already paid fees for old structure which is £1,426.

But, in new SET -O form we cant find any PEO fees to tick the box. So, I 'm guessing (also from our guys advised in this forum) leave the payment details blank and plan to take my payment receipt print out while submitting my application.

Any thoughts are much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

regards
Ram

the new SET(O) form has got layout issues and also overlapping text issues. Also the boxes are not aligned with the text properly.

People who have paid the old fees while booking the appointment need not to pay any remainder of the fee, as this was confirmed by the UKVI staff on my call.

For the payment page, I guess its better to leave this blank, as we are attaching the payment summary sheet, which also mentioned the fees and the date that fee was paid, so they'll know we have already paid the fee which was applicable then(before 6th April).

One thing that confuses me, the payment page text says ' Your application will be refused if the correct application fee is not paid', so for the people who have paid the fees before 6th April for the appointment after 6th April, do we need to mention this fact that we have paid the fees which was applicable on that booking date?

Any comments?

With this new Set(O) form released, I am still planning to carry old form as I am booked for tomorrow and paid online fee for Main+Dep, assuming home office will charge additional fee and won’t be any issue with old Set(O) form as I have learned on this forum that old form still be valid for next 3 weeks’ time. (Guys please let me know if any one of you see any unforeseen concern with that).

Apart from fee section, I haven’t seen anything changed in new Set(O) version. (Please let me know if any one of you have spotted which I might have ignored)

Thanks @ferryahmed82 for your post. :) Still not very sure about if we will be asked to pay additional fee or not on appointment day. I have seen many comments on that, but few told that additional fee has to be paid on D-day. However I would be going with that mind-set to avoid any disappointment. May be those who might have appointment today will share their experiences soon on that for other’s confirmation.

Waiting for get new experiences post new version.

Does anyone have the link to UKBA instructions where it states you can still use the old forms for up to 3 weeks? Please post this link.

Thank you in advance!

- Check section 34I of the Immigration Rules, or look for guidance - specified application form and procedures (page 14)

- Agreed! It's got layout problems and also overlapping as you mentioned. Hope they realise and upload a new one. However, old form can be used upto 21 days.

One of my friends was getting the layout problem in the old form as well. If you are taking two sided print then page number 7 of the form will never come on the reverse of the payment page. It should either be page number 6 or 8 or 10 to come on the reverse side. I don't want to say someone monkey but looks like monkey made this form.

I just checked. The form seems to be updated. They have renamed the file too.

I just checked and they still haven't fixed the double-sided issue. An even numbered page is never going to be facing up no matter how hard you try...I tried calling the help line but they just garbled on and were useless unsurprisingly. 61 single sided pages is just silly - let's kill some more trees.

True. They just updated the overlaying issue. Double sided issue is still there. Best way is to print only 1 - 6 pages first (double sided). Then print again from page number 8 - 61 (double sided). Lastly print just page number 7 and place it in between.

I just printed the new form and still encountered some minor overlaying issues.
