Expired IELTS - Set (LR) & FLR (M)

I am applying ILR on Set (LR) in August this year along with my wife FLR (M).

We both have IELTS:

I done IELTS in 2004 (GT) – Band 6
My wife in 2009 (GT) – Band 6

Is this expired IELTS will be sufficient to fulfil the requirement of KOL for Set (LR) and FLR (M) or do we have to redo it.

An expired test should be acceptable.

Just to clarify, an expired IELTS is acceptable but there are a couple of exceptions to bear in mind:

1. It must have been accepted by the home office in connection with another immigration application, for example, entry clearance

2. If it is being presented for the first time, then it must have been taken in the UK and is on the OFQUAL register.

The above two points is a direct reply from the Home Office and if is doesn't meet those requirements, then you would have to take another test.

Hi,

I entered the UK on Student Visa and presented my IELTS for Entry Clearance from Pakistan in 2011. Then I changed my Visa to Tier 1 Dependent in 2012 and presented my IELTS for 2nd Entry Clearance, again from Pakistan.

Now I am applying for FLR (M) from within the UK. Is my Expired IELTS Certificate still valid for this application?

Thanks
