Leave expiry on Sunday - completion of qualifying period

Tier 1 Start date of visa validity 14 Feb 2009.
Entry in Uk on 28 June 2009. (not within 90 days).
Tier 1 extended leave valid upto 1 June 2014. (Sunday)
Kindly guide for ILR !
1: In this situation can one apply at PEO on 1st June 2014 -within 28 days before completing qualifying period of 5 years in UK.
2: First June 2014 is Sunday and PEO appointment may not be available. Can one apply on Saturday,31 May 2014 in such situation (with more than 28 days for completing 5 years in UK ) or next working day 2 June 2014 (while overstaying with visa expired on 01 June and within 28 days of completing 5 years in UK.
