Dear all,

Apologies if this question has been answered in other topics but I have my appointment tomorrow and would appreciate an urgent response.

In the Set O ILR Form , there is a question 7.11 - how long you have lived in the UK.

I got my Visa on 25.05.2009 however came to the country on 20.06.2009 (within 3 months). If I start counting from 20th June, 2009, I would only complete 4 years 10 months and 20 days considering I am applying on 14th May. Is this OK or what shall I enter as I do not want to enter 4 yrs and 11 months as I have not completed the whole duration in this country.

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,

VV

you are qualified as per

The period between entry clearance being issued and the applicant entering the UK may be counted toward the qualifying period, as long as it does not exceed 90 days. This can occur if the applicant is delayed travelling to the UK. Provided the period of delay does not exceed 90 days, it will not be counted as an absence.

You need to specify how many years actually you lived in the UK ( that should be 4.10 years)

Write the actual time starting from you entry date i.e. 20.06.2009
but you have to mention in your cover letter, is your visa stamped on xx/xxx/xxxx date and entered uk on xx/xxx/xxxx date after xx days.
