Is the 10 years time starts from the day we arrive in uk or we have got our first stamping of our visa because its confusing me on the ukba website it says ur lawfull 10 years time starts from either the day u arrive in the uk or when u have given permission to live in the uk( permission means when our 1st visa stamped ??? )) experts plz advise

But on the ukba website it says either the day you arrive in the uk or when u have given permission to live in the uk what does that mean then plzzzzz thanks

Well I think it's the day when you first come to uk and think ILR as very important as you don't want home office to give any chance to refuse you so take extra care and count your time when u arrive in the uk. But can you please write your timeline like when you got the visa and when you first came to UK and what category are u applying ?

1st visa stamped 26th aug 2004
arrive uk on 8th sept 2004
got 60 days period for fresh application on 27th may 2014 because college suspended which will tk me to 26th july 2014
so if i count from the day i arrived i am 16 days short and if i count from my 1st visa stamped i have just made it i suppose what u reckon ..

Well in that case u need to take legal advice as currently u don't have any status as visa been cancelled and you are given 60 days to sort out urself, better take legal advice
