Hi All,
I hold ILR (just applied for it and will definitely get it), i married a Greek national and we are planning to have our child delivered in athens in august. since i hold ILR , would it be possible for the baby to have british passport , how can i go about applying for it??

I need to know this as the baby may need a passport to fly into UK after the birth.
Thanks in advance for the replies.

No because the baby is not British if born abroad to a person who has ILR. The baby can probably apply for a Greek passport if the other parent is Greek.

Child will automatically be British if born in the UK to a parent who has ILR.
