Life in the UK test - taken two years ago

Hi there,
When I applied for Leave to Remain two years ago in 2013, I, foolishly, thought that I needed to take the Life in the UK test. It was only after I had passed that I realised that I didn't for that application.
Now I am applying for ILR and, obviously, DO need to take the test. Can I use my pass letter from 2013 or am I required to take it in the same year in which I apply for ILR?
Hope this makes sense!
Thanks very much!
