ILR on The Basis of Tier 2 General

Hi Dear all
I am completing my 5 years on tier 2 general on 18 March 2016.
I entered tier 2 under the rules in place before 6 April 2011 so not subject to 35000 salary or 6 year maximum stay. Can someone please help me to answers following 2 questions
1) if my sponsor licence is revoked and I complete 5 years meanwhile as well but do not receive 60 days letter. Can I apply for ILR in that case.
2) if my sponsorship licence revoked and I receive 60 days letter as well but in during that 60 days I complete my 5 years, can still I apply for ILR .
3) and if I apply for ILR during that period without getting a new sponsor , if home office refuses my application , can I appeal against that .
I have heard that many people got ILR if their sponsorship licence is revoked but they completed 5 years. Or in other words according to paragraph 245 of immigration rules I have to get another sponsor just for 1 day and then should apply for ILR with that sponsor .
Regards
