Hi Forum,

I am currently on Tier 2 visa and will be eligible for ILR in month of April 16 If for any reason my employer curtails my visa before that, would I be eligible to switch to ILR writhin the 60 day period granted? Or is that period only allowed to switch from tier 2 to another tier 2.

Any help on this will be truly appreciated.

you need to have a letter from employer to state they need you for the foreseeable future before you apply for ilr.

Not required if applying for ILR based on 10 years long residence.
