Hi All,

I have been on Tier 2 CoS since June 2011 and will finish 5 yrs this June 2016. Since my wife and kid (born in UK, 2yrs old) are away in India and might be back after Oct.
My question:
1. If i get the Life in UK test and UKVI, can i apply ONLY for myself for ILR?
2. If i can apply for ILR only for myself, then what kind of visa will my family be on, as my wife is busy with her exams and dont thing would be able to give Life in UK Test with me.

Thanks

Do they have a valid visa to return in October?

They have a valid visa like me Tier 2 Dependent until Aug 2017. However, if i apply for ILR this June 2016, will that affect their Original Tier 2 Dependent visa which is until Aug 2017?

Thanks

Their visas will remain valid and they can apply when your wife is ready and has done LIUK and meets all the standard requirements.

Therefore, you can apply on your own.
