Got my approval letter today dated 18 February 2016...and here is my timeline
ILR-Tier 2 General Timeline - Postal application 3 depend.....- SET O
Aplication posted - 31 December 2015
Received - 4 January 2016 - delay because of holidays
Biometric letter received with mistake for my daughter biometrics- Jan 8, 2016
Biometric done excluding my daughter - 9 Jan 2016
Corrected biometric letter for my daughter - 26 Jan 2016.
Daughter biometric done : 27 January 2016
Passports back before decision 2 February 2016
ILR granted letter receved today dated 18 February 2016.
My application was very simple...I did send only the documents that they asked nothing more nothing fancly. Feel free to ask me anything

Supporting documents send
1. Proof of English @ B1 lEVEL 2 certificates me and my wife
2. Life in UK me and my wife
3. Cohabi...letters....about 6...On this dont stress your self just send what you have bills, letters etc
4. Latest statement showing emploeyr's money in
5. Latest payslip only for 1 month
6. Emplyer's letter showing that they still need you and that same letter we put my days away

One last question: Did you show any minimum balance maintenance for both or just one month bank statement to show the salary in would suffice?

I gues the minimum balance doesnt matter..You can even send a statement with overdraft.
They are just looking whether you are being paid the right salary only. So do not worry about how much money is in your account but worry about how much your company is paying you monthly
