Hi,

Currently I am on tier-2 G visa and my ILR is due in December this year.

My daughter was born here in UK few months ago and I did not apply her visa yet.

Th question here is, we are planning to go Pakistan and my wife and daughter will stay there till January next year, please let me know if dont apply her tier 2 dependent visa and wait for the my ILR? what visa do i need to apply for her on that time? or what is the best option?

Thanks,

Daughter entitled to register directly after they grant your ILR.

Thanks Vinny!

Few more things i would like to know:

1) How long registration process takes, as we are planning to apply from Pakistan
2) apart from the detail Birth certificate, with mother's and father's detail, do we need to provide any other document to prove the relation

Thanks,

@Vinny OP's daughter and wife is going to pakistan and he is the only one who will apply for ILR.

How can her wife enter the UK without leave.

How can Op's daughter register as BC while in pakistan as OP is only ILR leave holder?

As stated above, a UK born child is entitled to register after they grant ILR to a parent.

However, it may be better for child to apply for entry clearance as a PBS dependant or as a child born in the UK (harder) and return to the UK with wife prior to wife's PBS dependant leave expiring. If wife's leave expires when husband is an ILR holder, then wife has to apply for an entry clearance as a spouse of an ILR holder under Appendix FM. This resets wife's 5-year qualifying period for ILR.
