Hi everyone,
My ILR 10 years route was rejected today.
Applied visa in Sep 2016. Received Tax questionnaire in Aug 2017.
I got in country right of appeal.
I need guidance how should I proceed further.
What are chances on appeal to suceed

I don't know much about tax issues. I do know that your question on appeal is of no value unless you give (a lot of) details

First Visa Extension in 2011
Second visa extension in 2013
Both time there is a discrepancy between money showed to Home office and HMRC.
Realised this mistake in May 2017. Amended both years tax figures according.
When Home office asked for questionnaire submit all relevant documents. HMRS did not fine me but Home office saying deception.

Again. You won't get answers without details. E.g. which visa route.

completed 10 years in Sep 2016. ILR was applied on 10 years route

You are in a bad situation because you cheated on your taxes, assumption for purpose of meeting salary threshold?

The appeal process is complicated, time consuming and you need to deal with courts. You better off consulting a solicitor for advice

I am consulting with solicitors.It looks like they are interested more in Fee than appeal

My main question is what preparation do I need to do for the appeal process.

there is a lot of knowledge on this forum and lawyers/appeals are expensive. you still have shared no detials of significance so people are givving you just basic direction and that can cause you a lot of wasted time and cost.

I personally have been burnt by bad lawyers (and it seems a theme here that there are issues with immigration lawyers. TBC of course that is not all immigration lawyers)

In cases of these nature, the question is credibility not of law. How can a person convince a reasonable judge that he acted in good faith.

Provided an immigration judge takes all factors into account, his or her finding will not be disturbed even if it goes against you.

Therefore an appeal of these nature are extremely fact sensitive and not simply a question of law.

OP did not share the nature of his amendments.

Step one is to find a good immigration solicitor. They will advise on how to progress with the appeal. Your success will depend on a number of factors including the efficiency of your solicitor. It is going to be a very costly affair but all is not lost. Good luck!

Where can I find these types of previous cases so I can study them? is there any government website to look for the previous case.
