Change in circumstances question

Hi,

I am currently on my maternity, going back to work in a few months. I have made my application for ILR on spouse route 5 years. When I go back to work, initially I'll be going back for reduced hours. Since postal applications can take up to 6 months, I might not get a decision before I get back.

My reduced salary will still meet the requirement. However, my question is will I need to notify HO about my new income?

In a confirmation email for them they sent me a link to change of circumstances link but that only included - change of name, address, criminal offence and separation from partner or children.

It is your sponsor's responsibility to report such a thing

I’ll withdraw my question. I think I’ll take my full maternity to avoid any complications.

Hi, so I am going back from maternity in February. On the safe side I want to notify Home office of this, in case they find it relevant, but I don't know how to do this? The change of circumstances form I can find is for Tier 1,2 4 or 5.

Any idea for change of circumstances form for SET M please?

Thank you for your reply, Zimba.

I have been in a dilemma about this, because the changes they seem to want us to report are big things like Criminal convictions, separation from partner etc.

But as part of my evidence they had asked my employer to confirm my return to maternity date, which has now changed. So would this not be a change of circumstance? It doesn't change any of my employment details, my answers of the application or my eligibility for SET M.

There is no official way to report these changes, so it is up to you to report such changes if you want to.

If there is no official way, then I don't know how I can, because at this point of time my application is in process of being upgraded to premium so I don't know if it's in Sheffield or Liverpool. Can I ask, do you think it will affect my application if I didn't tell them, given there is no official way to report it.

Thanks very much for your help, Zimba.

As I said it should not affect your application
