Document requirement for ILR (LR)

Hello lovely people,

I am about to apply for ILR (LR). Since I have been here as student, I did not have to pay council tax or other bills which makes it difficult to prove where I have been living. In fact I have been living with my uncle who is settled here. Can I use his personal reference or anything just in case?

I can not use Bank statement as I opened bank account after three months of arriving. Am I overthinking? Thanks a lot everyone.

Hi,
You can use your GP registration if you have. Or your student registration at school. You have the stamp of your first arrival anyway in UK.
School communication is a good evidence

Good luck

There is no requirement to submit council tax etc to prove residence. You need you passports for lady 10 years.

I am in serious problem as my first passport was lost along with all my valuable papers. I ordered replacement certificates to prove English knowledge requirement. I thought UKBA records entry date in their database.

If I get ILR, I am thinking to offer cup of tea to CR001 and Zimba. You two are so helpful so far :)

If you have lost one of the passports, including the one used to enter the UK, only then are you required to submit additional evidence of residence as stated in the Set LR guidance notes.
