Hi All,

I have submitted my wife's set m online and we attended the appointment at Sopra steria for documents upload.

1. They just scanned and returned my wife's passports ? is this normal
2. After submitting every thing, we have not received any confirmation that the application is now complete and home office is now looking into it i.e. no email confirmation and online application on the home office website still says that you need to do further actions (upload docs etc).

Is this normal ? anyone else going through the similar thing ?

2. There isn't one. It's normal.

I'm in exactly the same position as you. Online application never seems to come to any real conclusion ie. "Your application is complete" or "submitted".

And at the sopra steria appointment they are too scared to answer any questions so don't even tell you there if it is received and processing.

No emails no letter nothing. Every day that goes by I get more anxious.

Have to received anything as yet?

I am exactly in the same boat. Everyday, I am checking my email for any correspondence from the home office still no joy. It is really frustrating to submit an application and paying huge fees and not a single response from home office so far. I submitted my online application 5th July 2019 and uploaded documentary and done biometric on 19th July 2019; since then I have not received any reply from the home office.
