Hello,
I have completed 6 years of DL and have applied for ILR since the past 8 months (biometrics done). I have contacted the home office and even involve my MP to help out but they keep replying that my case is still with the RCM team and will contact me when a decision have been made. Please is anyone in this same situation

Are you a refugee or were only given DLR ?

I was refused asylum but granted DL due to private life (my son). I came into UK as an asylum seeker in 2002.

I was granted DL in 2013

Generally DLR granted after July 2012 only leads to ILR after 10 years. What is your immigration history ?

Came into UK 2002
Asylum refuse 2003
Appeal refused
Applied as part of the legacy cases in 2010
Recieved letter that I will be granted leave after security check in 2011
After several letters from solicitor and intervention by my MP, I was granted leave (DL) May 2013
Applied for my second DL and finally in Jan this year applied for ILR

Am in similar situation as you:
-Got my first 3 years DL as unmarried partnership to Uk citizen in july 2013
-second DL 3 years in july 2016
Applied for my indefinite leave o 03/07/2019
Still expecting decision

N:B:
I had applied for my visa in 2012 during the old system but got granted during the new system, thus i was given recourse to public fund and it was stated on my approval letter that am eligible for indefinite leave after 6 years of DL

My DL also had recourse to public fund

I think you are wrong by saying any DL GRANTED after 2012 leads to 10 years. Some applicant whom had already applied before commencement of the new rule in july 2012, where given Discretionary leave to remain 3 years route and not the current 30 months rule. see below my history:

Hello . Just to inform you that i have been granted my indefinite leave to remain on the 29th of october. Hope you have heard from them too?

Congrats, unfortunately I haven't been granted yet but I have heard from the home office through my MP that they will make a decision within the next 3 months

Insha allahu. You will be granted soon. Home office is completing applications in due time recently. mine was less than 4 month and I presume you should here in this month too

Just to inform you that I have been granted an indefinite leave to remain after 14 months. Just wanted to thank this forum for their advice and support in answering questions.
