10 year long residence ILR continuity ?

Hello everyone :) I have a query regarding ILR 10 year long residence, and would be very grateful if anybody could solve this puzzle for me.

Below the summary of the immigration history in the U.K

1) 05. 01. 2010 -- To -- 08. 10. 2016 (Tier 4 visa) Left U.K on 06. 10. 2016 (2 days before tier 4 visa expired)

2) 25. 03. 2017 -- To -- 04. 04. 2017 (Re-entered within 6 months on Visitor visa for a short stay)

3) 06. 09. 2017 -- To -- present (Again re-entered within 6 months on PBS dependant visa)

Not spend more than 18 months outside the U.K in total and 6 months at one single time within the last 10 years.

Question 1) Do you think extensive absences in 2017 and Visitor visas in this case may affect the long residence ILR application?

Question 2) Should I have applied for the visitor visa (or any other) within 28 days after I left in 2016 ? Or does that 28 day rule apply only if you've overstayed / 5 year ILR ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

No

Under long residence, the 28 days only matters if you left the UK without a valid visa.
But for ILR under 5 year PBS routes, it is necessary in order to maintain the continuous lawful residence.
