Hello ,
Iam in the Tier 1 50k category and planning to apply for ILR end of October.
My Business address/office is in London.
My Main home is in Manchester but i do have a second London address which i rent where i will stay during weekdays and weekends/Friday i will be in Manchester as it is my Main home address and all my utility and personal bank statements are based out of Manchester address.
In ILR application form,WILL it be an issue if i mention my current address as Manchester as my office address and employees are based in London?
Also while booking Life in the UK test can i use my manchester address and use a test centre in Manchester or should it has to be in London ?
Kindly advise on the same pls.

What did you state at the time of extension?
It won’t matter tbh.. you can very well have a main address in another city.

If I was you, I would just mention the london home address. Given, you do not have any need of personal bank statements or any utility bills for your application, it makes more sense just to keep everything in london.
Although, I believe, its not a big deal but just have a feeling that HO only needs a small reason to investigate more and causes delay so it might be a reason of more scrutiny you living in manchester and operating business in london (depends on business nature though). Just my opinion.

It should be fine then. But I’m inclined to agree with Cullinan. Tier1 is subject to much scrutiny.

You can have a business registered anywhere in the UK. The question of genuineness will be dealt with by the UKVI. We cannot tell you what to expect
