I have attended Bio metric appointment on 21st NOV 2019 for ILR ( super priority service) , today morning Received email from home office as follows , any idea how long this will take to change in the system and make the decision


Dear Mr XXXXX,
Thank you for your application for permission to stay in the UK.

Although we would normally decide your application by the next working day from the date it was submitted, unfortunately this is not going to be possible in your case.

This is because we require further time to consider your case thoroughly and reach a decision.

On your application form you indicated that your current Passport Number is 12345 , however the number on your passport is 44444.

Therefore your details on our system have to be changed, which can take some time to complete

Why is the passport number on the form different to what you submitted with your application??

If you got a new passport, did you not inform HO on the change of circumstances form as required for PBS migrants?

Passport details: If a new passport has been
issued, provide the passport number, place of
issue, date of issue and the date of expiry of
the new passport.
If the applicant has received a new passport
following the loss or theft of the original
document, enclose the crime reference number
or report issued by the police when the loss or
theft was reported.

Ex:- My passport number is X1234 but i entered X1235 ,

I have Entered one digit incorrectly

Whoa.. what an expensive mistake. Shouldn’t take long coz it’s obviously a typo..

Just Received an update from Home office

Your application for indefinite leave to remain in the UK has been successful.

What happens next
You will receive your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) by courier within 7 working days. It is your BRP, not this letter, that is the official document that grants you status.
