Hi gurus,

I just want to get a clear answer on my application date as bit confused on 28 days' calculation. Please find my scenario below:

I came to the UK under Tier 2 ICT on 13/06/2010 and my ICT Visa issued on 09/06/2010
I changed my visa in the UK to Tier 2 General and my COS date was 09/01/2015, my Tier 2 G application date 11/01/2015 and my Tier 2 G BRP issue date was 13/01/2015,

So would be grateful if you please answer my below questions:
a) when can I submit my online application at the earliest?
b) when can I book biometric appoinment?
c) can I apply priority service (within 5 workings days) within the UK

Hence I had to change my visa to T2 G from ICT.

Within 28 days of completing your 5 years, counted from your TIer 2 visa issue date

c) can I apply priority service (within 5 workings days) within the UK

Thanks for your response. But I guess 1 and 2 should be different dates.
My 28 days from visa issue date is 16/12/2019. So basically I can apply and give biometric today?
However one of your earlier post says applicant can pay and submit their application much before 28 days. Their biometric needs to be within 28 days.
Can you please confirm..

You should be eligible on the day of your decision. So in theory you can apply early but it is recommended that the appointment is booked only on a day which you are eligible.

So in my case I can get the biometric appointment tomorrow for the ILR. I could pay and submit the application last month also it means..
