SPOUSE VISA REQUIREMENT TO GET ILR AFTER 5 YEARS

Dear People Who are reading this form and I sincerely appreciate if anyone can help out to answer the following if they have experienced or has experienced it recently.

The question is as follow:

A Spouse Visa is normally issued for 2.5 years (but normally they were given 30 months each time) and allows the holder to work in the UK without restriction. At the end of the first granted 2.5-year period, the holder can apply for an extension and be eligible for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) after 5 years.

My Question is as anyone recently applied for ILR and if they have what documents have they submitted as part of their application.

I know most of the requirements but my application for my spouse is due in July and I want to be 100% to submit all relevant and most up to date documents accord to their requirements.

My other question is, Do you have to show income for the last five years? or only last 2.5 years or only last 6 months when making the application to ILR.

Also, my final question is, do you have to Complete Life in the UK Test as part of ILR or you can Use IELTS which I have used for the last two spouse visa which was 2.5 years?

I am aware 100% you can use the same IELTS for making spouse application or extending it, but I am not sure if you can use it for ILR

I appreciate any help

Evidence of finances, English language, cohabitation and LIUK

Yes. You need to figure out the category you are applying under: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... -ext_1.pdf

LIUK is a separate exam that you must pass
For the English language, you can use your previous test if it is at B1 level and the test and the test center are still accepted by UKVI
