ILR - English Language Requirements

I came to UK in July 2016 on Tier-2 Visa. I was granted Entry clearance from April 2016.
UK Naric process wasn’t introduced but I remember submitting my IELTS test report with my documents. Still don’t remember if it was required or not but I submitted my IELTS report for sure. Next year when I apply for ILR, I have few queries:

1. Do I need to give IELTS/ Do the UK Naric process to prove my English Language skills or do I fall in the category where the guide says that if you have given proof at the time of Entry Clearance, you don’t have to give it again even if the test has expired.
2. My husband is my dependent on Tier-2. When he applies for ILR will he be required to give proof of English Language too? We hadn’t given his test results at the time of Entry Clearance.

Thank you

Old IELTS can be used if the test center is still on the approved list as you have used that test in an application.
Your husband must get a SELT pass at B1: https://www.trinitycollege.com/qualific ... SE-grade-5
