Advice on ILR / no. of days outside the country

Hi,
I came to UK via the spouse route in March 2015 and I had to go back after a month (April 2015) and stay back for 8 months in my native country to take care of my child as my child couldn't join me at the time. I am due for ILR in March 2020. As I have spent more than 180 days outside UK in 2015, do you think I would be able to apply for ILR at this stage? I hope someone can guide me with this query.

Thanks

If you hold a spouse settlement visa, there is NO absence limit or 180 days absence rule.

Thanks. Can I also ask another question. I have had a notification from HMRC recently that I didn't pay enough tax in 2018 for which they are taking payments out of my salary from next month. Is this likely to cause issues for ILR?
