ILR Proof Of Accommodation

Hi,
I have moved to UK in 2015 and I am eligible for ILR in 2020 May. First 1 week of my stay was in B&B in 2015 and then I stayed in my friends house for about a month before renting a property near my work place.
Since ILR application requires a proof of accommodation, I can submit the B&B bill then all the bills regarding the house I have rented and council tax.
But I dont have any proof that I have lived in my friends house and neither I can ask my friend now, because he does not live there and neither he lives in UK anymore.
So, can I write a self declaring letter to HO while applying ILR on the same or is it something they would not accept at all.
Requesting your valuable suggestions.

Where exactly does it state you have to provide proof of all accommodation for the last 5 years????

Thank you CR001 for the reply. I am a bit confused here, does it not mean that the continuous residence means providing the proof of where you have lived apart from employer confirming that you are working?
Please let me know.

Continuous residence is your employment and passports. There is no requirement to provide proof of address evidence for the whole 5 years.
Evidence of address etc is only required if you have dependents applying with you.

Thank you CR001. Sorry I should have mentioned that my spouse if also applying with along with my kids. So, should I then show for all 5 years or the cohabitation is required for only 2 years?
Again my apologies on my ignorance on this.

Evidence of cohabitation in both your names for the last TWO years only.

Thank you CR001 . That clearly helps me. If there are any other questions, can I merge here, or is it recommended to open new posts?

My Visa Valid From: 30/04/2015
My Visa Valid To: 29/05/2020
Date Of First Entry:28/05/2020
Spouse Visa Valid From: 30/04/2015
Spouse Visa Valid To: 29/05/2020
Date Of First Entry:30/07/2020
Are we both eligible to apply for ILR around 12/05/2020?
Or Can I apply earlier and then process spouse visa?

You haven't stated in any of your posts what visa category you hold?? Different rules apply to different visa categories.
If you hold a tier 2 general visa, your ILR clock starts from visa issue date.

Currently I am on Tier 2 general visa which was given for 5 years first time when I applied. Also, is the 3 month late entry into UK valid under 5 years continuous residence?

There is NO absence limit for dependents whose visas were issued before 11th January 2018.
Presumably you meant 2015 for date of entry and not 2020.

Hi,
How can I show cohabitation for 5 years because we are applying after 2012, when my spouse arrived 3 months from entry clearance.
Or is this wrong and do I have to show cohabitation only for 2 years.
2) the council tax team says that they can’t give receipts for every year, but they can provide letters which includes both of our names. Same with tenancy agreement. Tenancy we also have digital copies as we always got them digitally. Are these fine as proofs?

You only need 2 years evidence, not 5 years.

You need the annual council tax statement, not receipts. You simply need the tenancy agreement(s) you have. You can also use TV licence, utility bills, HMRC letters, no letters, NHS letters, go registration letter/cards etc etc.
Nothing is sent in original form by post to ho. Everything is uploaded digitally.

Hi,
1) Does my visa also needs to show 5 years residence proof along with me when applying as a dependent on ILR tier 2 application?
2) Also should the cohabitation docs be quarterly for 2 years only?

2 years evidence of cohabitation in both names only, spread evenly across the two years, from at least 3 different sources.

But all the bills that we have are yearly only. Would that be a problem?

Because we have tenancy agreement and council tax bills and a letter from GP stating that we were living together in the same property?

Don't you have utility bills, HMRC or DWP letters, or TV licence, etc etc.
