Hi,

I would really appreciate if someone could help me with the below query / my situation:

- I had an ICT visa for 2.5 years after which I got married and moved to a Tier 2 General Dependent (PBS dependant)
- I have been on a dependant visa for 1.5 years now
- Now that my spouse is due to get an ILR, I wanted some help on the below questions:

1. Will my ICT years be counted for my ILR to complete the 5 years quota in-country to be able to apply for an ILR ?
2a. Do I also have to re-apply for a visa status change - as an ILR Dependant? At the time of my spouse applying for an ILR (even though I have not completed 5 years in the UK)
2b. if yes, Do I also have to give a Life in the UK Test (as a dependant) at the time my spouse is applying for an ILR?

Thanks in advance for your help with the above.

1. No, your time as a tier 2 ICT visa holder does not count towards the 5 years required for ilr.

2a. No. You continue extending before your current visa expires as a PBS dependent until you qualify for ilr with 5 years PBS dependent visa.

2b. Liuk test is NOT required for ANY dependent visas. It is only an ILR and citizenship requirement.
