Time Limit Between UKVI and UKVCAS

I have looked around but found nothing.

Under normal circumstances, is there a time limit between submitting your SET(M) to UKVI and how long you have to book your UKVCAS appointment. Presumably there is one or else you could never book one and stay indefinitely under 3C rules.

Is it fixed or is it depending on how busy they are.

Just wondering as my Life in the UK test has been postponed but I still need to submit my application and at some point the UKVCAS offices will open (I dont won't to be forced to make an appointment sooner than my test)

Thanks in advance

Yes there is normally a time limit, around 45 working days. Section 3C remains in place regardless of how long HO takes to make a decision on an application.

Under normal circumstances, appointments are not difficult to get. Also depends on where you are located in the UK.

You must apply on SET(M) before your visa expires. HO will not penalise applicants due to the UKCVAS centre and LIUK test centre closures. Simply book a test when you can and book an appointment after the test date.
