Hi folks, just saw someone said to prove property ownership, we need to submit title deeds from Land registry that is within 3 months old. Is it true? Can I just submit the same title deeds I submitted 2.5 years ago? Nothing has changed since then. Thanks in advance.

For immigration applications title deeds are mostly used either for meeting the accomodation requirement or to prove the rental income. Also attaching council tax, mortgage statement (if not outright), noc letter (if property not owns by sponsor/applicant) may be needed. Ideally a recently issued/downloaded title deed should be used because HO might misconstrue that ownership might have been changed as a very common practice during this brexit.

Hi Seagul,

I submitted the deeds along with council tax bill for FLR(M) 2 years ago to prove home ownership, are you aware whether this will be required for Set(M) please? Thank you.

If you have now different living arrangements then may submit the evidences relevant to these (if asked so).

SET M document upload questions

Due to apply for Set M and panicking as never did any online application before...would be great if anyone knows answers to the following:

1. Do I need to scan every page of my passport and sponsor's?
2. Do I need to scan every page of utility bill for cohabitation proof? (phone bill can have 4 pages)
3. Can I combine multiple pages of a document into one file? E.g. combine all pages of passport into one PDF?
4. Cohabitation docs from last 2.5 years OR from when FLR(M) was granted? (2 years and 3 months)
5. Do I put non-mandatory documents in "Other" category or in various "Life Event", @Education", "Financial proof" etc ones?
6. After which question I cannot go back to edit my previous answers?

Thanks a lot

2. Yes, you need complete sets of documents.

3. Yes as long as they are within the size limit.

4. Last TWO years.

A few questions while filling out online form if someone can advise:

1. I have 2 passports, the mandatory documents generated online only ask for my main passport, do I need to scan my other one too? (it only has 2 non-UK stamps in it).

2. For cash saving category, apart from bank statements and declaration, will I need to scan other documents that help illustrate sources of saving?

3. How to answer this question "Could you and your partner live together outside the UK if necessary?" It's unlikely we can afford to live elsewhere.

Thanks!!

1. Mixed opinions & experiences
2. Bank statements & declaration
3. Simply reply precisely but honestly.

A stupid question, in the "finance section" of the application I was asked to enter my bank account number (to prove that I have savings), Do I enter just the account number or the sort code as well? There is no other space for the sort code.

Thank you.

Sorry to have one more question. I saw some people on this forum mentioned third-party "Consent forms" to be signed by applicant/ partner or both, I cannot find this form anywhere.

The only form to be signed on my document checklist is "your partner's relationship declaration"

I'm going for savings route.

Please advise if all Set M applicants will see these "Consent forms"?

All applications have consent forms. They are at the end of the application and there are 3 of them.

So the only "Mandatory actions" I have on "further actions" page is the family declaration form.

There was a "declaration" section prior to payment page where I had to tick "I am the applicant aged 18 or over" and it says "I consent to organizations, including financial institutions, providing information to the home office when requested in relation to this application"

That is all.....should I be worried I don't have the consent forms?

I can now see appointments available on ukvcas, but on the service update page it says people will receive an email before 23 Jul which invites them to book an appointment, my questions:

1. Can I book an appointment without first receiving an email invitation or I can just go ahead and book now?

2. After uploading documents, should I click "submit to UKVI"? Or will staff at a core centre check my documents before clicking this for me?

thanks!
