Child status (Tier-2 dependant) since ILR granted to parents

Hello,
I have been granted ILR (my Tier-2 visa was valid until end of July 2020)
My son was born in the UK and has Tier-2 dependant visa (dependant on my visa) until April 2021 (longer than mine because I changed job recently and was issued shorter length visa)
Could I ask several questions please?
1) What happens with status of child when parents granted ILR? Is his visa still valid until it is stated on BRP anyway or it expires as we were granted ILR?
2) It is stated that my son's BRP is expiring in April 2021. But if he is my dependant and I had BRP valid until end of July 2020, does it mean his BRP is valid until end of July 2020 only? We are going to apply for citizenship via MN 1 and I am worried that if we will travel he won't be able to return to the UK as his visa may be expired.
Thank you,
Alex
