Dear Respected Members of Forum,

I am Posting for my colleague who applied ILR for his wife with the following situation.
Husband got British citizenship in July 2015. after that 5 year Set M route

Came to the country: Oct 2010
5 Year route started: 04/08/2015
Leave Expiring: 03/08/2020

10 Year Will be completed by 10/09/2020 ( 28 Days Before).

An application has been made and paid already today. Now considering to cancel that application to move to apply for 10 year route by 10 september ( as we can gain the time) or wait for this application until biometric and then cancel the application and apply/Variate for 10 Year route.

Also please confirm if we cancel the current application which is made today can we get the refund.

A pragmatic way will be to vary the existing application into set (lr) instead cancelling as it might affect section 3C and might affect/delay the entire process.
