Help! UK degree taught outside UK To meet English requirements

Hi, I submitted my ILR application as a dependent Yesterday, using my UK master degree Certificate as my evidence of English ability. Now I’m waiting for the appointment. The Degree certificate was issued by Manchester Metropolitan University in 2012 but all of the teaching and researching were done in Switzerland from a partner college. That means I can’t provide any travel history in UK during that time period. Would it be ok?

Since it keeps worrying me, I booked a B1 test today in a few days. Do you think if I should upload the B1 certificate when it’s done, along with a cover letter to explain all these? Or do you think the master degree certificate alone would be enough?

Thanks very much. I really appreciate your help.

Provided the degree was finally conferred by UK university it will be accepted regardless of where has it been actually taught. However, if it is marked as through distance learning program then may require additional evidences/clarifications.

Thanks so much for your reply. It’s not a distance learning program. The degree certificate is exactly a master degree. So do you think if I don’t need to send the cover letter and B1 test? Thanks.

No need to do any English test as it would be suffice.
