ILR Application

Hello Experts,

I have similar case as of the original starter of this thread.

Since I've held multiple visas during my tenure in UK, I would like to highlight them in 3 key stages.

Stage 1 - April 2015 to April 2016 >> In UK with Tier 2 ICT short term visa. Departed from UK to India in April 2016 due to the near completion of ICT short term visa. ICT Tier 2 short term visa validity from April 2015 to April 2016.
Stage 2 - May 2016 to May 2019 >> Came back to UK from India on ICT long term visa.Renewed it multiple times while living in UK and have lived in UK on this visa most of the time. While being in UK on this ICT long term visa got married to British citizen and switched to Spouse/Partner visa.
Stage 3 - May 2019 to present >>On spouse/Partner visa (my partner is British citizen). My current visa is valid till Oct 2021.



My Questions

• When can I apply for ILR?

DO NOT tag your question to other topics. When did you first arrive in the UK ??!

Sorry I am new to this forum and I am still in the learning phase.

I first arrived in UK in April 2015 but my first visa expired in April 2016 hence I have to leave UK before expiry of my visa. I came back to UK in May 2016 with a new visa with start date in May 2016.

The earliest you can apply for ILR will be in 2024 when you complete 5 years under family visa route.
