Hello Everyone,

I need some suggestion for ILR – I came UK in 2010 via Tier 2 – visa with my wife and my daughter (PBS dependent). Our current visa is valid till sep2021.
Now we have all three completed 10 year so we can apply ILR via Long term residency . I have few queries if anyone can help .

1) In case if only I am applying ILR then what about our dependent visa status , will it be invalid or we all need to apply on same time.
2) What are the forms set number for Main visa applicant and dependent visa applicant my wife and my daughter.
3) My son was born in UK 2017 so how his ILR will be progress or can we apply diretly British passport once our ILR cleared ?

Thanks
Adarsh

1. There visa remain valid provided they do not travel out of the UK before they apply for ilr.

2. Each applicant applying for ilr based on long residnece must complete their own form and meet all the requirements individually. There is no dependent concept for ilr based on long residence. Each person must apply on form SET LR and meet the requirements, including the absence limits.

3. You can register the child as British once you have ilr. He does not need ilr. You need to register him as British on form MN1 and get approval and the certificate before you can apply for a British passport.

None of these documents are required. You are NOT applying for ilr based on your employment.

hi Team,
Please suggest of below two points

1) Proof of XXXXXX relationship status as the married or civil partner of XXXXXX --
so is marriage certificate enough

2) Evidence you have to prove the relationship with XXXXX (for example marriage certificates), and correspondence addressed either to you jointly, or in both of your names, or addressed individually to you at the same address, to cover the last two years--

-- so here also Marriage certificate and some utility bill with both address for 2 year

Please suggest for both point do we need need marriage certificate or Am i missing anything ?

Regards,
Adarsh

I am a "miss" not a sir.

The form checklist is generic. None of those documents are required.

You only need the minimal documents already advised.

Parents (guardian, rep) sign on behalf of minor.
