Please advices needed.
I have submitted my application for SET LR, back in May, when I was filling the form online I was asked if I had passed the required English qualification before and if so if I was granted leave to remain on that basis. I said yes. Which was true.
Now I have just received an email from case worker.
"We now need to see evidence of the English Language requirement.
This can be in the form of a speaking and listening qualification in English at B1 CEFR or higher, or an equivalent level qualification.
or
an academic qualification (not professional or vocational) that either a) UK NARIC confirms was taught or researched in English or b) was taught or researched in the UK or a majority English speaking country"
I don't have the B1, I had the A1 that I use back in 2014, the same A1 was use in 2017 when I was renwing my leave to remain.
I have a GCSE grade C, which I got after attending my local college for a year. Can I use that please, its urgent.
Thanks in advance

The requirements for ilr are very clearly publish and have been for many years and it must be English B1 test. A1 is not sufficient for ILR and could result in a refusal.
GCSE is not acceptable. It must be an approved test and test centre on ukvi's current list.
You need to do a new test.

As stade by mod, what you have cannot be used. It is for you to quickly see to getting a B1 certificate if CW won't frown on it that you are just doing it and there is no time cap on when the evidence is to be presented.

Waouh, thank you so much!!!
I have now booked B1 test for next Tuesday 29th in London Hammersmith. Wish I could book it early but it was impossible for personal reasons.
They said I will get the result on the same day and the certificate will follow within 7 working days.
Just to clarify is it the certificate I need to send to case worker right? Or will i be emailed the result with a ref number so I can send it to the case worker u know like with LTUK test got?? I got the email yesterday and he gave me 10 working days.
Just praying now that i pass the test get the certificate quick enough.
Thank you

At this point, will think a scan of actual certificate is what will be required. If it were the form stage UER could suffice.
See if there is a means to contact exam provider, explain your situation and see how fast they can get it to you.
