ILR decision to current employer

I am on Tier 2 ICT visa from last 10 years with my employer.
Now on Furlough since work not available.
I have already applied for ILR on LR basis and expecting decision soon.
Once i get ILR, is it mandatory to inform employer about ILR ?

Your present employer need to be updated with your latest & up to date right of work.

Thanks Seagul.
Once i update about ILR, I will start new employment with UK office and thus not eligible for furlough since as per latest rule employee need to be on PAYE scheme before September.
is that right?
