ILR unable to submit documents

Dear members of the forum,

I would greatly appreciate your advice on the below.

I have submitted my ILR application and then booked a biometric appointment for the next day. After that I was able to upload the supporting documents, but the 'Submit' button is nowhere to be seen. I realised this is probably because the submit option is only available 48 hrs prior to the appointment (as per the below quote form the Sopra Steria web site):

Upload your documents
You must upload your supporting documents online before your appointment, and you must bring your original supporting documents with you to your appointment.

We have introduced the option to submit your uploaded documents to UKVI before your appointment takes place. This option will be available on the Document upload page until 48 hours before your appointment.

Question: Could this be an issue at all and what should now happen during the biometric appointment? Should all my supporting documents be scanned there? Or are those documents that I have already uploaded but not submitted enough? Could this delay my application?

Thank you very much in advance!

Wow.. Lucky to get an appointment the next day itself. Which service centre btw?

Yes, during biometrics they will check some documents and also ask you whether you've submitted all relevant documents or not. Once you say yes they'll submit on your behalf.

Self-submission is optional and you are right it is available only up to 48hrs before appointment. In your case, you should upload all documents as normal. Carry all the originals. No need to carry soft copies. The staff will submit for you.

Thank you for your replies srsw, CULLINAN, it was very reassuring! As you said, the uploaded documents were submitted on my behalf during the appointment.

To answer about the service centre, it was in Croydon. I guess it was available so soon because someone cancelled.
