Hi,

a quick question about documents to be uploaded (searched on Google - no luck)
I will apply to ILR after 5 years Tier 2

in the documents checklist there is:
+ Evidence of Mrs Burcu's immigration status in the UK
+ Current Biometric Residence Permit for Mrs Burcu

aren't these 2 are the same thing?
What else can I provide as an evidence of my immigration status? Isnt BRP enough?

so do you think it is a mistake that they have put the same document twice on the list?

Not everyone has a BRP to prove immigration status. It is normal for the checklist to generate multiple items which can be satisfied by a single document.

Ok thanks for the clarification!
I thought that was a personalised check list based on my answers filled in the form.

Although the online form adapts as you answer, the answers have pre-set checklist options. The software generates a pre-set checklist relevant to that tick box. However, that may or may not apply to you. Checklist is not always accurate. One has to follow the immigration rules as the first reference.

I had the same issue as also CULLINAN said, I only put BRP for both items. Mine is still under review :(
