Physical condition, Personal Care Set(M)

I've asked about a similar question in regard to an FLR application, but after answering "Yes" on the SET(M), it now asks for a letter in the Documents section.
Question:
Do you or your partner have any physical or mental conditions which require at home personal care or medical assistance?
Document section:
A headed letter from a medical practitioner who holds either an NHS consultant role, or who appears in the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council. The letter must provide a private practice or hospital address and include full details of any medical conditions you or your partner have
Does anyone know how much detail they are after? "full details" could mean many pages for a complex medical condition.
Also, why is this question asked?

As much as they asked for. If you make such a claim, you must support it with the evidence

Have a word with the NHS consultant about this requirement. They generally have a template for the relevant details.

Thanks for your reply.
I'm not sure what you mean by "make such a claim". It is a question that is asked in the Application section (section 2 of the online SET(M)). The correct answer for the applicant is "Yes", then then document requirement appears.
This is not in the "Do you have any other reasons for wanting to stay in the UK?" section, it is the first part of the application after "Start". It does not ask for evidence other than a headed letter from a medical practitioner.
Yes, they ask for "full details" and I was asking if someone had knowledge of what that means. "As much as they asked for" seems to be saying "full details" means "full details". I don't know if that means the name of the condition(s), only the part of the medical condition that results in personal care needs, the history of the condition, the treatment required, the effectiveness of the treatment, concomitant medical issues, etc.

Thanks, that's helpful. I've sent a request to a consultant and will see what they come back with.

Using Cash Savings for Financial Support?
It seems simpler (fewer extra letters to request) to use savings to show financial support, but I do not see how to do it on the online version of SET(M). The finance section starts by asking questions about benefits, work and other income. It never asked about savings. Is that because the amounts entered in the other sections are sufficient? Does this system not allow one to choose which kind of support to rely on in the application? Or do they now want to know about every source of income?

More information about why the question about Cash savings never appeared.
The first question of the Finance section is this:
"Do you or your partner currently receive any of these benefits?"
With instructions:
"Tick the relevant box(es) below to show which benefits you or your partner receive"
Carer's Allowance
Disability Living Allowance
Severe Disablement Allowance
Industrial Injuries Disablement Allowance
Attendance Allowance
Personal Independence Payment
Armed Forces Independence Payment
Guaranteed income payment under the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme
Constant Attendance Allowance
Mobility Supplement
War Disablement Pension under the War Pensions Scheme
Police Injury Pension
No, my partner and I do not receive any of these benefits
If any benefit is selected, the series of questions asks for proof of these benefits, then asks about work, income, other sources, but never gets to the "Which types of income will you rely on to meet the financial requirement?" question.
Does this mean that if applicant or partner is getting any of these benefits, they
must show maintenance instead of financial resources of £18,600 and cannot use Cash savings to meet the Financial Requirement?

There is a question on Set M "Do you or any of your dependants have any business interests outside the UK?"
Is that like owning a company in another country? Or would it include something like a sole-trader having clients in their home country, and using a previous address there to communicate with those clients?

Application date, document date Set(M)

If I understand correctly, one is eligible to apply for SET(M) 28 days before the 5 year anniversary of the first FLR(M). But I've read that one can actually apply earlier than that, as long as the decision on the application is not made before the 28 days before date. This would be an advantage to schedule the biometrics sooner, as I understand the earliest appointments are now weeks if not more than a month in the future.
After an online application, I also understand one can upload documents in advance, but choose not to submit them until right before the biometric appointment. Can one submit a document dated after the date of application? Like if a bank statement is dated 5 days after the date of application and submitted after the application? Or would a bank statement have to be dated no later than the date of application and no earlier than 28 days before the application?
For example, if a 5 year anniversary is 15 February, the 28 days before date would be 18 January. Could an application be submitted and paid for 30 December, then a bank statement dated 4 January be uploaded later? Then all documents submitted on 18 January?

Technically yes but not recommended

Your documents should be dated before the date of application i.e. the date you pay and submit and not older than 28 days from the date of application

I have made this request, but with Covid, it seems like this is going to be a pretty low priority and might take weeks or months to get done. I can show enough other evidence to meet the financial requirement, so I don't know why medical status would be relevant. As far as I can tell, this should have no relevance to my application, so if I just don't include this letter, is it likely to affect the application?
Finance question, benefits, Difference between FLR(M) and Set(M)

For SET(M):

The first question of the Finance section is this:
"Do
you or your partner currently receive any of these benefits?"
for FLR(M), the first question in the Finance section is:
Does your partner currently receive any of these benefits?
Is this likely to be a mistake? Or is there some difference between FLR and ILR with regard to whether such a benefit is received by the applicant's partner only (FLR), or the applicant OR the applicant's partner (ILR)?
