Backlog Issues? No longer need PDF form?

Hello All,

Been a while since looked into visas, June 2021 is when the wife needs to have completed her ILR application via Spouse route.

Are there still issues with the backlogs and appointments? Are the premium centres still open?

Do you have to complete the online application and therefore cannot use the PDF below?

Any issues with regards to booking Life UK exam and B1 exam with the pandemic ongoing?

Best Regards,

Dylan

The backlog has mostly cleared. There is no longer a "premium centre" service. This was discontinued in November 2018. Currently suspended, but there is usually a super priority service.l for an extra £800.

You can no longer use the paper forms. You have to apply online and enroll biomterics at the ukcvas centre. Documents are also all uploaded digitally now. No originals are sent or submitted.

People are still making bookings for tests.

Thank you for clarifying those points.

Is there anywhere I can see what the application questions are prior to completing it online? It's a bit early to start completing the form and I would rather work offline prior to completing the online application.

Seems like some of the questions are different to the 2018 PDF form I saw as I don't see anywhere about reasons for wanting to stay in the 2018 PDF form.

You can run a dummy application if you wish, discard/edit or save until you submit it.
