Old passport

Hi guys,
I applied for ILR LR on 10th sep, from timelines posted it looks like i should hear back in the coming days. Judging from other cases ukvi might ask for copy of all passports.
I submitted copy of my old passport, but exit and entry stamps are not very visible and i am afraid that is the only copy I might have as my old passport could have been destroyed by my government. Is there any chance HO might have my records for exit/entry from previous passport? I only travelled once outside the uk and even in that case it was expired passport which was taken by my country’s embassy and i had to get letter from them to travel

The HO do have the records of your travels relating to UK entry and exits. This you also can obtain by requesting for SAR.
Hoping you correctly indicated in application status of old passports.

I included cover letter saying this
“Please, find attached my supporting documents.
I only have a copy of the old passport which was given back to renew my passport. Hope that is fine.
”
Will that be enough?

Should be okay. As already advised by AmazonianX, best is to apply for a SAR in the meanwhile. You may not even need it but if needed, you will save time/delays. Note, sometimes SAR also does not have record of all your entry/exits.

FYI, I did my SAR(only basic version available due to COVID) which only had the last 5 years of travel history.

Yeah i checked sar now, it has only 5 year option for travel history. My old passport contained only 2010-2015 stamps and sar wouldn’t help in this case. Looks like i can only hope HO has my records for that time, then?

It appears that is the only hope and that they corroborate.

Could that be a reason your application is taking longer than to process?

No. A basic SAR only provides 5 years of travel history for anybody
