ILR for Spouse (Currently on Tier 2 ICT Dependent Visa)

Hello all,

I have been transferred from my Parent Indian company to its UK subsidiary in July 2010 and worked all these years on a TIER 2 ICT (Intra Company Transfer) visa for the same company. My wife came to UK in Jan 2013 and have been staying here since then on a Tier 2 ICT dependent visa. As I have completed my 10 years of legal stay in July 2020, applied for ILR in the 10 year Long Residency route and made it.

My question here is:

1) Is my wife eligible for applying ILR now as I have already achieved ILR status?
2) If yes, what's the route - please help me with any link?

My wife has already completed Life in UK and English Language test and she has been legally staying in UK for 8 years on Tier 2 ICT dependent visa.
Please suggest.

Thanks in advance,
RVPK

1. No she is not. She has to switch to FLR M spouse visa and meet the English and financial requirements. She cannot get ilr based on tie 2 dependent visa if you got ilr based on 10 years long residence.

Hi CR001,

Thanks for your reply.

My wife's current Tier 2 ICT dependent visa expires on 28th April 2021.

As I am working with the same company, can I extend her current visa (Tier 2 ICT dependent) for 2 more years instead of going for FLR M spouse visa route even though my Tier 2 ICT got transferred to ILR!

This will help her reach 10 year ILR Long Residency eligibility. Please suggest.

Switch her to FLR (M) as earlier advised. She can not be extending as dependent since you are no more on that route haven obtained ILR.

Does FLR (M) route needs funds to be shown in Wife's bank account or does it specifically needs any other requirements?

Can you please help me with mandatory requirements and the fee for 2 year visa under FLR (M) route!

If you or your wife are working with the same employer for more than 6 months you may chose to satisfy the financial requirement through Category A.
Read through the below on the requirements and for other Categories(B & C):

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... t-v5.0.pdf

When I applied two months back, the fee was about £1023 per person. You also pay IHS on top of it(for 2.5 years)
