New changes to the ILR from Tier 2 General after brexit

Hi All,
I am preparing my employer reference letter for my ILR application and have used a successfully used template in the past couple of months.

Our company's HR is saying that this part might not be accurate after Brexit:

We further confirm that ....’s current salary is in excess of the required salary threshold of £35,800 to qualify for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) as Tier 2 General Migrant.”

SOC code is 2136.

Any idea how can I find out what this has to be changed to?

Thanks a lot

from the caseworker guidance:

"The sponsor must confirm they require the applicant to work for them for the foreseeable future, and the applicant will be paid at least the minimum salary in paragraph SW 24.3. for the foreseeable future."

As SOC code 2136 is a shortage occupation the salary must be £20,480 per year or the going rate for the job whichever the higher. The going rate is £33,300.

You may be drafting the employer's letter but it is their letter, not yours, and HR should know the salary requirements for settlement, not just tell you that what you drafted might not be accurate.
